Smart phone demand and features set to increase; costs to fall
Recently, several smart phone manufacturers have released or announced new models and features. These next generation products have greater capabilities that come at a lower cost than earlier versions continuing the trend of offering technology consumers more bang for their buck.
As demand for enhanced capabilities, features, memory and speed continues to grow, consumers are reaping the benefits from the competition.
A little proof? According to the Chicago Tribune:
Industry analyst Michael Gartenberg, with market research firm Interpret, said the new iPhone pricing breaks through an important barrier for consumers. It likely will cause other makers of smart phones to offer something similar, he said.
Just as with personal computers, more and more technology consumers now rely on cutting-edge wireless services – and the bandwidth those devices use – in order to do their job, participate in school or simply to stay in touch with colleagues, friends and family.
