The powerful earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday has created enormous destruction and a huge humanitarian emergency.  Estimates put the number of dead in the thousands, and loss of power and phone services is crippling relief efforts to an estimated 300 million affected by this natural disaster.

While the U.S., France, China and the Dominican Republic are all sending search and rescue teams to Haiti, there are also several relief organizations dedicated to helping the people of Haiti, including:
